Very cool arrangement. Only missing an "I like Ike" sign to really place it in the '50's. I like your use of color extract and a little dabbing with the desaturate tool could cleanup all the turquoise splotches scattered around.

Thanks, I used the desaturaing tool in the back window but I should have went a little further with it.

Funny that you should show the 55 with that color, I had a Nomad that color and also a Cameo pickup, but it was white/red. Thanks for bringing back the memories of money I burned. BTW, the Buick was a great ride, my Grandfather had one. Bob

Great use of selective coloring. Ahhh metal and chrome - as Jay leno use to say - when you hit something with one of these you need a spatula to scrape it up

Nice! Brought back memories of m old 55 Chevy...identical to that one in your photo, same color, same everything except the wheels ...I had baby moons. Mine was a six cyl....and burned oil at a rate faster than the best Texas gusher could pump it out of the ground.

Regards & Thanks for posting!

I always have loved the teal & white mix on 50's cars, the black Buick was nice too, I have another shot with the Buick as the focal point, but it didn't turn out as nice since it has an out of focus 55 in nice bright color saying "HEY DAMMIT LOOK AT ME!" that and I'm not a fan of the Buicks front grill.. unique - yes, attractive... well that in the eye of the beholder. But I sure wouldn't be sad to own either of these. Ruper, I love the baby moons and beauty ring look, as nice as new big rims and low profiles look, I think white walls on 40's-60's cars are really sharp.

Well I finally got around to piecing the 2 pics and doing my PP work.. he're the results!
I never noticed how much teal was left in the rocks in my first shot, until I was working on this one!
