Ethereal Morning
Posted By: neil, 11-27-2007, 11:34 PM

-5°C and very foggy conditions make for some interesting opportunities...

Captured last week in Port Moody, BC, Canada with my K10D/*16-50mm

A few more from that morning can be seen here:

"That first shot is so money!"

That is so funny, I have never heard someone say that about one of my photographs before.

I am glad you like it and totally see the connection you have made to Lord of the Rings etc...thanks!

hey!! That's Rocky Point!
Wow, you got some really good pictures of it. I've seen it a lot in the summer as I'm located close by, but never in THIS type of weather. FANTASTIC photos!

Now I want to go walk around Rocky Point :P.

I love them all - great pictures. These make me want the 16-50 more than the 50-135. A trip well worth it. I think you have Lord of the Rings, the Exorcist and The Fog all captured beautifully.

Good compositions. Theese are the kind of shots that do not need post processing because their essence is the soft light and in the mood they create. Good work!

What beauty nature provides and yet so many want to destroy it.

These are ALL fantastic but the last one stands-out just a bit more than the others.
And which idiot was it that said photography is not an art form!?

Take a bow Mister.

I fell in love with #1 so fast that I never even looked at #2 and #3, and they are outstanding as well.

Neil, I see you're pretty new here. You really know how to open up with a bang! Exemplary - work. I agree with Chris- #2 couldn't be any better. The fog provides a sort of built in bokeh, an effect I quite like.
