Ocean Pool at Dawn

The ocean pool at Back Head Beach, Hallidays Point, Mid North Coast of New South Wales.




This one was 28mm, f8 at 6 seconds

Sharp, clean and calm images. I like the combination of geometry, water and light.

A really interesting shot - I like the contrast between the endlessly changing lines of the natural coast line and the controlled, perfect geometry of the pool. Is the pool recreational or does it serve some other purpose?

Hi Jer,

Thank you for your comments. It is definitely a recreational pool but it does not get much use at this time of the year because the water is a bit too cold. Add a cold breeze to that and a swim would not be much fun. A different story during our summer months.
