Excellent texture rendition Jay, particularly in the B&Ws - even if not taken by a Pentax

Great series. I especially like the elephant eye.

These are absolutely outstanding, Jay. I dig 'em all, but number 5 has such . . . . reality . . . . I've feel I've got access to a time machine. I don't think I've ever seen photos from you that aren't captivating for one reason or another.

Thanks Ash. Between that and my iphone, I still have plenty of time for K-mount

Thanks Jer, appreciate it. Yeah, number 5 seemed to be very authentic - a guy worried about his Knight he's in charge of keeping running... kinda like a 13th century Pit crew

Awesome series; pretty clear that what gear you use doesn't really matter as just about anything you touch seems to produce great results!

I'm 90% sure I've seen that girl before, on dpreview from last year or the year before. I think being a 'fairie' in these types of festivals is a hobby or maybe even a part-time job for her, and a lot of folks - probably mostly men - like taking shots of her. She stays in character the whole time when interacting with people, but I didn't hear her say anything, just sort of acting/miming very well. (She actually dropped out of character for a quick moment and gave me that funny 'glamour' pose you see at the end there.) The camera loves her, obviously.
