Lens: Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 Macro Camera: Pentax K-5 Photo Location: Richmond, VA ISO: 1600 Shutter Speed: 1/30s Aperture: F3.5

Messing with the K-5 some more, my cat Summer decided she'd pose for me for whatever reason. I did very little retouching to this photo, other than what's obvious. I'm really impressed with the K-5's low light performance...yeah, I feel like I've been living under a rock all these months, having to rely on the K-x for such things. :P

Lovely shot, nice tones. It does look like the eyes might be just behind the focus point though? I'd sharpen up the eyes just a tad to make them jump out just a little.

Hi
Sorry I don't want to become a serial pest here but when I see a nice photo where the colour is so wrong I just can't help myself.

Unless you wanted this ruby clolour (in which case I shut up),
don't you think your puss looks a bit more like this?

Greetings

Maybe.....for me the warmth of the original is better. In my own shooting I prefer a slight yellow tint...am well known for it......almost all my Squirrels are out of sync in color, but more to my personal liking.

My version...but however you cut it,it is a great shot of a fine looking kitty!

The first edited picture is closer to her actual colors. I still need to work out white balance/color balance. Thanks!

I went ahead and fixed the image in Lightroom and brightened it just a bit, and replaced the image on Flickr.
