" The enigmatic Capn' Zap"--self portrait----sort of
Lens: pentax 18-250 Camera: k5 Photo Location: Deck at home--Saugus Ma. ISO: 1600 Shutter Speed: 2s Aperture: F8

While standing on the deck after "socializing" with friends I noticed that the flood lights cast a giant shadow across the back yard and onto the trees in the wetlands and thought that it might make an interesting shot.--wine does that.I set the tripod up on the deck overlooking the yard and stood behind it with the light at my back. The B&W posterized version was completely processed in the K5 with its filter modes.I think that I like the B&W version better than the original.---charliezap

BW for me but a true Capt'n would have a silhouette of a bottle of some spiced rum - perhaps even Captain Morgans spiced

In a pinch a wine bottle would have done - save that for the next Shadow Shoot.

Both versions are interesting, but I prefer the B&W--like an 'X Files' appearance.

B&W all the way, Capn. I think this shot is very clever - the sort of B&W effect I love.

My squirrels are scared also. They know whose boss in this neck of the woods.--charliezasp
