I followed this guy around the tomato plants for about an hour and took 40+ shots.I was reasonably pleased. The sun was at a low angle and ducking in and out of clouds. Now I have to contend with the possibility of a hurricane in the area for Sunday with the latest track taking it literally right over Saugus.--charliezap

Nice up close shots, I haven't seen any insects at all this year other than a couple of ants, probably left over from "Them" as Jer said.

Thanks guys.---Yesterday the earthquake was felt in the Boston area and my son works on the 7th floor in Boston and he felt dizzy for a good 20sec.Now hurricane Irene may be coming here and they are saying that it could be the worst one in decades.I hope the dragonflies know how to hunker down.--charliezap

Believe me I can sympathize, Capn! Take care of you and yours - let's hope that Irene either looses her punch by the time she gets to MA or that her track moves eastward.

Thanks Rense.I hope that the backyard remains intact after the predicted hurricane Irene steams up the Eastern seaboard with hurricane force winds-flooding--power failures--and all the other associated nasty stuff.--charliezap
