the library of congress has quite a large collection on flickr (which is likely where the blog mined these)

Wildman, Thanks for posting this. There are so many wonderful photos there. They were hard working people. It was a different time then when so many worked just to put food on the table for their families. I'll stop there before I get political. Thanks so much for the post!
