Where the fairies live
Lens: Tamron AF 70-300 Di LD Macro Camera: Pentax K100D Photo Location: Sweden, Hälsingland

I took this photo down by the creek at our summer cottage. It was afternoon and the sun was shining through the leafes coloring the water green. This is almost straight out of the camera, I just checked the sharpness. Is it working for you? Is it too much going on or do you, as I do, feel the magic?

What an extraordinary opportunity for taking some shots. It looks cool, I assume you have 100 more from various angles.

I like this shot, especially since it isn't over sharpened. Wonderful natural lighting, you are going to have to post more often with shots like this. Bob

Thanks, so much, all of you! I'm really happy that you like it!
@kenafein, well... I have a bunch experimenting with the flow of the water, I wanted to get som softness, but not too much. We were about to leave, so I couldn't stay there quite as long as I would like. But, the creek is still there the next time!
@Sailor, I'm so happy that you saw the magic feeling I wanted to 'present' (sorry, english not my first language and sometimes I don't find the right words..).
@Bob, you are always soo kind! I hope that you are far away from the hurricane!

Yes I do.
For me the "magic" is found in the small intimate quiet places such as this not in dramatic shots of mountains or pounding surf

Well done.

A lovely composition and colours - yes, I feel the magic!

I would prefer it sharper - it's nice to have at least some are of the picture that's very sharp I think. But yes, I am beginning to think that sharpness is over-rated - there is much more to creating a great image.

@wildman, thank you! You comment made me really happy!
@DanielT74. You are right! Thanks for the comment! I placed the sharpness on the small stone in the foreground, and when I saw the photo I was a bit unsure as to if the rest became to unsharp and difficult for the eyes... I too, am learning that sharpness might be overrated as such... but...
