Moon Shadows
Lens: 50-200mm Camera: K-5 Photo Location: Nevada ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/250s Aperture: F6.7

While waiting for meteor showers during the last full moon, I took a few shots of the moon through the trees. That was my highlight for the evening, not one meteor shower spotted. Thanks for looking. On the 3rd photo, I added my own meteor shower passing by. Bob

Very interesting- I like the distorted effect in the second the most.

Thank you Adam, I was trying to squish the moon in that photo to make it a bit oblong, but couldn't get it exactly right. Thanks for taking a look and commenting, always appreciated. Bob

Hey Bob, It took me a moment to understand what you did in these photos... how very creative and effective! I just love the way the night sky creates the negative space around the moon. The one you added the shower into is just brilliant! I was on the women's canoe trip the night of the Perseids and because it was a full moon the sky was lit up... and gorgeous and but we did see many meteor showers. Maybe we were looking up at the same sky at different hours of the night?

I first thought you used a kind of pin hole lens, but then I started reading and understood! Nice effect!
