Tamron 70-200mm f2.8
Lens: Tamron 70-200mm f2.8 Camera: K20d Photo Location: Cardiff Bay

A few from yesterday with the K20d and the Tamron 70-200mm

What a sharp lens 8) I didn't shoot any wide open, opting for a minimum aperture of f4 instead

R.N.L.I
f4 | 1/3200 sec

Union Jack
f4 | 1/4000 sec

Torn Dragon
f4.5 | 1/1250 sec

Fallen Ball
f4 | 1/1000

Groyne
I would of prefered more space at the top of this image but the far bank cut into view and forced me to this composition
f5.6 | 1/1250 sec

Feeling Blue
f4 | 1/1250 sec

Coffee Time
f4 | 1/25sec ( handheld 8) )

Boat Lighthouse
f9 | 1/640 sec

great work with that tammy gareth.... the colors are beautiful and the definition nonpareil..... the ball reminds me of 'wilson' from the tom hanks movie 'survivior'...

I'm starting to think this lens should be the second telephoto in the family. I read one review that said it was just as sharp as my DA*60-250. That's a little disconcerting since it's half the price, and a stop faster, traded for a little less reach. I don't see anything in those pictures that would lead me to believe it's less than advertised. The big disadvantage with the DA*60-250 is that on my K20D and a teleconverter, the camera needs that extra stop to help with auto-focus. Thanks for posting. Those images were exactly what I was looking for.
