The clouds starting changing color, possibly due to dirt in the air and soon we were in the middle of a lightning storm where I got some great lightning strike photos which I will post later. Thanks for taking a look, Bob

WOW... gorgeous shot portraying some awesome energy in the sky! Lots of great textures and depth to the photo too...I'd be getting off the water and looking for cover if the sky turned that colour overhead. oh... but you are in the desert... how do you avoid the lightning?

Tess, why would anyone want to avoid lightning. I worked for a electric utility for 30 years and got paid for chasing storms, now I take photos for free. Thanks so much for the kind words, I would get off of the water though. Bob
