Nature New England Honeyeater

Two pics of a New England Honeyeater on the top of our Weeping Apricot. These are quite heavily cropped as the bird is quite small and some distance away even for the 300mm lens. Handheld as it is very difficult to catch them still for long enough for a tripod.

2nd shot is excellent.... curious as these are called new england honeyeaters.... here is in the states, i live in rhode island, which is part of a collection of continguous states called 'new england'... tis a small world after all...

Oops. He is in fact a "New Holland" Honeyeater. A brain fade on my part after many failed attempts to upload photos. Thanks for you comments
