Thanks! I have a whole bunch of my travel photos cycling as desktop wallpaper, and when this one came up I decided I liked it.

The Sydney region has some fabulous wildflowers. One day I'll get a decent photo of Waratah in the wild!

Nicely done! I have that lens, but haven't tried it for close-up work yet. What FL were you using and about how close?

According to the exif data, the FL was 45mm and the distance is simply listed as "macro". I'd guess that the distance might have been about 10 inches (25cm) hand held. I would only use it at the 45mm end for closeups.
