Landscape an Enlightening Lightning shot

an Enlightening Lightning shot · **1 Like**

Shot on manual, 20 second exposure of a lightning bolt that started out as sheet lightning and then suddenly went to ground. I haven't seen a lightning bolt with this many twists and turns, so felt fortunate to get the photo. Thanks for looking, c/c always welcome. Bob

I checked your avatar and it appears you live close to each other.
We don't get much rain here in the desert, so this is a dry lightning which is pretty easy to photograph.
1. Open beer or pour a glass of wine
2. Point camera towards storm and open shutter, take a sip
3. Release shutter when lightning strikes, take a drink.
4. Repeat...
