BW Landscape
Lens: DA* 50-135 Camera: K5 Photo Location: Elk Island ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/90s Aperture: F22

Just trying out the new Topaz BW (for a limited time it is only $29.00) acts as a plugin to varoius editors (this is from Lightroom III) - so far I like what I see and it's a cheap price.

Dave, very nice conversion, looks like this software is worth taking a look at. Can it be used as standalone only? Bob

B&W is a all time fav of mine and with this plugin it justifies the expense TFS Dave

Thanks Jim so far I like what I see there are some downsides as a Lightroom III plugin (need to create a tiff first) but that is being addressed according to the support forums. The price is right.

Thanks Bob - "No, Topaz software is not available as a stand alone. Topaz software are plug-ins only and must be used with a compatible image editing host program." According to their web site

For windows :

•Adobe Photoshop CS3-CS5 (32-bit and 64-bit), Adobe Photoshop Elements 6-9.
•Lightroom 2 and 3 via Topaz Fusion Express
•Irfanview
•PaintShop Pro
•Photo Impact
•Serif Photo Plus

For Mac

Thanks Ivan - the price of this was one was inticing less than half a tank of gass think I 'll get my monies worth.

Thanks Jer - I think it will be a worthwhile purchase (especially when they fix the Lightroom Interface that strips the exif off).
