One of my favorite photographic stomping grounds is the San Diego Zoo. It isn't always easy to get nice animal images in a zoo. But when it happens it is rewarding for me. Plus, I like supporting the zoo, their work is very important in the survival of many animals. Here are a few of my favorites from my last visit.

Thanks for looking, and please visit the gallery link. I was shooting the polar bears through thick glass that wasn't clean. Some of them I was able to adjust the white balance on and others it would toast the image. I'm not sure what is up with that. I know that they would look better in the gallery with consistent color, but I wasn't able to pull it off.
