My first batch of photos with my K10D.

These are my first photos pretty much ever. I had a point and shoot crappy camera but never tried to take artisic images with it just family stuff. I do have a video production background which has helped my transition to still shots. I am now obsessed with photography it is so relaxing.

Most of these were shot with the kit lens besides the billy goat which I used a pentax slr 35-80mm lens.

I like the last one best, although the goat is sweet as well.

Very nice! Very impressive fist shots! I particularly like the black and white tree photos, and the river/bridge at sunset/sunrise!

Thanks Ole I was quite suprised my self to see how well my first photos turned out but I didn't complain . I love my Pentax! To my surprise I have sold 3 prints! I can't put down my pentax now lol. Haven't touched my high dollar video camera in weeks.

You have a good compositional eye, i love the angles you've "drawn" in the photos. For the tram shot with the parallel lines you could actually place it smack in the middle rather than offset as the rails become the lead in lines or perhaps from a little further back. Great stuff and here's to seeing more
