I think this is absolutely terrific. I like the fact that you divided the background into equally sized black and white areas. Simply an intriguing and well-executed photo - refreshingly different.

Thank you Sailor for your kind words... From the beginning, when I bought these shoes for a costume party 'Mafia of the '30' - I thought, how to photograph them (but other than that I am quite normal and rather sane). I tried some colours as a background, and suddenly I saw, that simple white and black is the best with such a subject! I also tried to shot both of the shoes, but single one is more intriguing and better - as the wisdom says, the simpler, the better.

So, one-legged guy...

Bob - I was wondering what title to choose: 'the guy' or 'the man'... The guy won, but the man is also a good title.
