Great shot, Tom.

I always love photographing Juncos. As far as song-birds go, they seem to have so much personality.

Tom,
Great shot! Even a not so flashy bird can look great when photographed properly. All of your work that I have seen is extraordinary.

What type of post processing do you normally do to your photos?

really nice and sharp, great exposure. Ive just bought a bird feeder so am going to sit next to it all day until i get a half decent shot!

Excellent capture!

This image really shows the personality of the bird, and the abilities of the shooter - plus a little FA* glass to make it nice and sharp! I think you'll be in bird heaven soon enough Tom!

Tom,

Absolutely love the Junco; Wonderful sharpness, framing and exposure. Love when they open their tails when flittering about.

But I really do like that example of feldspathic granite that he is standing on. Natural or landscaping stone?
