Macro Sunflower Blossom and weevil

Another marco. On this one I tried the reversing method by reversing my SMC Tak 55mm F1.8. I'm not sure which method I like better, you can get much more magnification with the extension tubes, but it is easier to focus with the reverse ring.

The sunflower weevil was as small as a grain of rice (~3 mm)

I like that one a lot! Love the color too. Reckon what kind of little weevil that is?

Thank Rupert. It is called a Red Sunflower Weevil. They only grow to around 3 - 3.5 mm long. Our sunflowers are full of them.
