1st try with new tripod
Posted By: thomasjmpark, 12-03-2007, 04:59 PM

Hi folks,

Got my new tripod today so set everything up and had a bit of a play. I cant believe what a difference it makes using one, and that its taken me all this time to actually get one.

ALthough ive only just tried it out indoors i can already see the freedom it gives you to correctly adjust settings, cant wait to get into the mountains with it

Anyway this one is a bit of fun. I havnt worked this close up to objects before so can anyone tell me the best way to get all of the sheep in focus. I tried different apertures and shutter speeds but couldnt get it all in focus, probably my lens, do i need a dedicated macro? used a 17-70mm for this.

Cheers
