Mean Left Hook

I posted a Birdie this morning and no one looked at it....Otis told me they wouldn't. He said people don't want to see a silly Birdie when a manly Squirrel is available......as usual, Otis must be right.

Here is a more serious Otis....he has a mean left hook. I won't test him!
Best Regards!

Cmon Rupert, call off your "hit" squirrel.Seen your birdy, looks exactly as a
cardinal should. Will keep thoughts on red saturation in mind as our cardinal
flowers(really) are blooming. They're deep saturated red, beautiful wild flower.

We have one cardinal here, goes by the name of Albert.Believe he's about to
"fly the coop" shortly. Any ideal of what Albert might look like in pinstripes?

Bill, try the "Muted" on red and see what you get? I shoot Raw+ so if I don't like the Jpeg, I still have the Raw file. I would probably not shoot Muted for regular shooting, but for reds, it seems to do much better than I can get even with the Raw file.......if that makes any sense? Most likely it is my processing skills or my programs that are not doing as well as the in-camera Jpeg when shot in Muted?

I have over a dozen, maybe more, resident Cardinals here. I don't think most of them have ever left my yard since hatching. Food is abundant year around and water too. Plenty of trees and cover, no one bothers them...they are almost tame, and I don't easily spook them. You send old Albert down for a vacation, I guarantee we will treat him right!
Best Regards!

Reminds me of that great movie I once saw, "Rocky the Squirrel", he had a great left also, or maybe I have my movies confused or combined. Better learn to keep that right up Rupert.

Sounds good Rupert.Rarely shoot Jpegs,no reason why I cant.
Been almost 2 years since Ive seen a cardinal flower, very striking.
Normally close to or next to water and with heavy coincidental vegatation.
Could account for what appears to be such deep saturation of red.
Getting a bit of rain now and hope to have some free time to try it all out,
as 'wettness' should really push those things up.
Going to have film bodies full of a variety of chromes & negs too.

Sure Albert will be happy where ever he "flys",good natured bird.

Cheers,
Bill
