It's In There! I Know It!

Things have been tough here in the drought....and this little Woody looks in this knot on a tree daily as I look out my office window....it is always empty of insects, very few bugs this year in the record drought. So....I have started putting a few black oil sunflower seeds in there for him...they will eat them readily if insects are not available. Today he found them and I got several shots through the window at about 40 feet away....would love to get out and get closer but they are very skiddish birds.

Regards!

I know there is something in there!

Surprised Otis didn't get to them first. Then again, this guy looks armed and dangerous. Nice captures, "red belly" and all.

Otis doesn't know about this....shhhh! Thanks & Regards!

Thinking about these...shot through dirty window glass at about 40 feet....if I could just get outside and closer, imagine what the K5 might do!

A little more of his red belly......
