I grabbed these sunset shots from the cockpit while docked at our slip in our marina. I decided to try B&W conversions, because I like the effect in shots like these, but I've also posted the color versions for comparison. For some reason, the second shot is not quite sharp, perhaps because of slight movement of my boat - but I posted it anyway.

No filter, Bob, other than the Houston-area atmosphere (care of the TCEQ, one supposes). Both were shot RAW, and the second one was deliberately underexposed.
