A couple of weeks ago I vowed to stop trying to shoot great pictures of hummingbirds. These little guys have invaded us like a Biblical plague, and I enjoyed 'em so much today, I decided that my vow would allow me to take mediocre photos of these little characters - so I did.

Cheers,

Jer

+1. Proof that there's more to bird photography than eyeball-searing sharpness. That is a very funny and compelling bird shot!

I thank Carla was on in the bar across the yard. Bob, I can't believe how many of these things are around; you feel as if you're risking your life when you go out the back door.

We've got clouds of the things, although I think there are fewer around today. Amazing.

Very nice set. I know how hard those little devils are to capture. You even got one at rest.

Great captures Jer

Much better than the smudges I usually get.

Like Dave above I put out a feeder but no luck - at least when I was watching.

Hey, thanks, Tom. This was the first time I've been able to get something other than smudges.
