"awaiting its prey" seems to be eating one already

Very jealous of all these different insects you are finding! Living in the suburbs absolutely sucks....... though I did find an absolutely beautiful Phidippus adumbratus male yesterday

Joe, concerning the frog offer, my wife says I am not responsible enough and she would end up having to take care of it. Great series here, maybe when I am older. Bob

Bob, tell her they are very easy to take care of - mist the container every so often and make sure she/he has water and pet store crickets to eat and you are all done (well, clean tank every so often)

I use a YN-560 flash (most shots 1, sometimes 2) - I use this softbox: Impact Mini Softbox 10032080 B&H Photo Video
As for flash positioning, I sometimes have it mounted on camera (on hotshot mounted tilt piece) and sometimes take it off camera and use it handheld with wireless trigger.
