This afternoon the lens I won with Charliezap's Pulitzer Challenge arrived. Went to the river with it.
This one is for Charlie, taking off my hat for him because of his generosity....

Good luck and happy shooting with that lens Rense.I believe that it can also shoot macro like shots.There may be a switch for that but I haven't used that lens in a while since I got the Pentax 55-300 lens.The Quantaray as you can see is practically brand new.This is the 2nd time that I bought this lens.The first one got sold when I sold an earlier Pentax dslr camera to a co-worker.I liked it so much that I got it again.

The photo was shot with that lens when I was still wet behind the ears with digital photography back in March of 2006 and it became picture of the week in Parade Magazine which is a supplement Nation wide in many big newspapers.Once again good luck and try some macros with it.
