Lightpainting Cars
Lens: 50-135 & 10-17 Camera: K-7 Photo Location: Geelong ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: >6s Aperture: F5

Ok it's been ages since I've posted ... so may as well make it something half decent. I went out last night with a couple of friends and some torches with our cars... first time I ever tried this, results were interesting. Interestingly enough I found myself using the 50-135 for a number of the outdoor shots.

Not bad... you should try the old sparkler trace line trick,....

I am a keen follower of AndWhyNot (Andy Whyte) work on Flickr... you should have a look at his Tutorial if you haven't : Light Painting Cars by Andrew Whyte | Light Painting Photography

Nice shots latest are bestones for me... I really like one with moving sky. Second last.

Yeah 30secs is not a enough, need to try it with bulb mode and go for longer.

The K-7 really shows it's weakness though with regards to noise in that shot.
