Very nice shots! What a cute little guy too! Those little birdies are so hard to shoot, and you did a good job of it!

I don't have a single nuthatch photo I'm happy with. Nuthatches are always too far away, in the shade and in constant motion. Good shooting!

Hi Rupert!

Yes indeed they are tough to "capture" ... always on the move and pretty much hiding in thick conifers.
I got lucky to have this one on a tree bordering a field.

My toughest birds to photograph ... kinglets!!! Never really had a decent shot of those.

I agree with you ... either too far away, moving all the time or well hidden.
