That's because it's shot with FA50 f/1.4 @ f/2.

Glad you noticed them too! All of these photos are taken at the convention centers in the general area, so I spent a lot of time dodging other people and had to fight with harsh lighting conditions. Most of them were taken without the help of flashes or any lighting kit, highlights were often blown under the sunlight.
Oh, well. Gotta learn from the mistakes, right?

Great shots! Unfortunately, the last time I was in Japan it was winter, so I only managed to spot two cosplayers in Yoyogi Koen. Maybe I should try going to a convention and get some pics.
