Mount Rundle Banff
Lens: 24-70 Photo Location: Banff ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F11

This mountain seats at the base of Banff and has been one shot everyone in the area wants to take. We went back here three days in a row hoping to pull out a few good images. There is still a lot more there. My shot of the fog peaking through the clouds is similar to the one Dave posted earlier. Cheers JIMBO

Nice. I wish we had sights like this on the east coast ... what exact f-length are those?

Love the third image! Great IQ and color/composition! I can tell this was a very fruitful trip for you both (at least photographically speaking).

Enjoying watching these posts roll out.

Thank you for taking the time to comment. These were all shot at 24mm. JIM

Beautiful shots - #1 is very dramatic, and I love the color/composition of #2 and #3. Looking forward to more!

Thanks Paul. Everyone should shoot this area once. In my case, I have done it twice and will be going back many more times. JIM

Love the 2nd image, it has a bit of everything from great lighting hitting the mountain top and all the way down to the reflection, what a beautiful area. Bob

I'm a sucker for a good B&W conversion and the first one is beautiful! Although the colors in the last one with the sun touching the tree's on the other side prove color has it place to!

Three super images but particularly like the second. The little bit of surface mist adds atmosphere and you have placed the rocks nicely in the frame. Excellent warm light on the mountain as well.

What lens is this?
