This is five photo's stitched together. This was one beautiful location. Shot over 125 images here alone. Working on a few now. I do very little Pano's. It was Dave / Daacan that got me on to trying it here! Cheers JIM

And it's a fine work of art there Jimbo ! I know you earned that shot up at a gawd awful hour and then we climded over ankle breaking logs and finally pearched on a cliff of rocks - great shot.

This is the whole group. Every new location we went we took a group shot. Dave and Grant shot their new K5's. Dave, you get the botton figured out? Cheers JIM

Nice again and what a handdsome fellow on the left I'll tell ya ! - The K5 had to back to Pentax Canada for repair (lens realease button fell off) fortuante I had the computer screwdrivers with me on our trip , so I imagine my dear K5 will be MIA for 4 - 6 weeks.

Nice work, Jimbo. Moraine lake is one of my favourite locations in the Canadian Rockies!

Jim, great job on the pano but the width you covered using 5 photos, wouldn't your 12-24mm cover the same distance. The mountain in the background and glacier almost looks surreal to me, of course looking at the group here I think the whole combination is surreal. Glad you all got together and the best thing for us is to be able to view more of the scenery there. Bob

The answer to your question is yes and No. I wanted to keep a certain focal length and going to a wide angle would have not given me tghe same look. Appreciate you taking the time to comment Bob and more to come. JIM

What a nice spot and what a nice shot. I'm envious. Sometimes I think Montana may have the best scenery in North America, but now I think I'll have to get a passport and take a closer look north of the border. Thanks for posting! Jim
