Last week, Connie and I made a quick, overnight trip to Kemah to install a new mainsheet system on
Cut Time. We decided on dinner at Outrigger's, an elevated bar-restaurant on the Kemah Channel and directly adjacent to the Kemah Channel Bridge. Our timing was perfect, since we arrived at the place right at sundown - when the sun sucks the day's heat into the ocean, and we ate on the deck overlooking the channel we so often use on our way to and from Galveston Bay. I grabbed a few shots; none are long-term keepers (it was cocktail hour, after all), but I hope they give you a feel for that perfect temperature when balmy sea breezes make being outside almost exotic.
