Photos are from our visit to the Petrified Forest in AZ. We had a bright sunny day in the beginning and storm clouds came in later, a typical happening in the desert. The first photo is from Jasper Point where you can see many examples of wood on the valley floor. The larger logs are located at the visitors center. The last photo is near the Teepee's, showing how barren part of the park is. Here is a link to the park:
