More Canadian Rockies
Lens: Various Camera: K5 Photo Location: Banff, Canada
Posted By: daacon, 09-29-2011, 06:38 AM

Some more random Mountain shots. I think Grant said it best - when you are dirving through the Canadian Rockies you need to look at the peaks from the Sun roof. The side windows just do not cut it These are all from the Banff area.

Dave, you really got some great photos here, love the light in 5 and the light in 2 gives an eerie look. Did you take any bad photos?

Dave, you're having a good time, aren't you! Looks like all that practice with the K-5 is paying off. Keep posting these fine shots!

haha thnaks Bob - I had the K5 on 'good pics only' oh yeah plenty of bad ones no need to post those. The beauty of going to a spot specifically for photography is you can shoot, re-shoot, review, re-compose , review , re-shoot until you are resonably happy on that small screen or unless you turn around and go OMG look at that and start over.

Thanks pentaximus - It was a great time. The wife and I spent the weekend there (Friday - Sunday) then hooked up with Jim, Grant and Anne and we shoot from Sunday - Sunday (morning) - I ma back in the real word now - I am motivated to go somewhere else now

Thanks Ivan I caught myself doing the same thing at times. Put the camera down and just enjoyed the scenery (rather than much with exposure and review historgrams and focus) - the weather was almost perfect most of the time there.
