Hunter Fly
Lens: Sigma 70-300 APO DG Camera: K-x ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/90s Aperture: F22

Tried to get a fly in the act of hunting. He was too fast, but I got a somewhat decent shot of the aftermath.

Shot with my Sigma 70-300 DG APO with a Raynox 150 macro attachment.

Thanks Bob. Yeah, I didn't know there were predator flies out there until I started shooting Macro and read up on this species. They are called Coenosia attenuata or "hunter fly" and have only been in the U.S. since 2001, introduced from southern Europe.
