DA 50-200 Golden Hour
Posted By: sajmmiller, 12-07-2007, 03:12 PM

The subject matter of these shots is nothing special, but I continue to be amazed by the DA 50-200. Both taken a 200mm, the first almost wide open at f6.3 and the second at f9. The only PP was a slight contrast increase and a little sharpening.

Yeah, nice lens, and that first shot is a beautiful photo, very moody, well captured.

Looks like autumn is about over...

Thanks for commenting Steve. I took these a couple of weeks ago, but just got around to looking at them. So yes, autumn is definitely over now. At least we've not had any freezing rain/ice yet!

Hey Scott,

Glad to see you're out and about with your gear in NWA! Where were these taken? Subtle rich colors in those images - I like my 50-200 a lot too - great travel lens.

Cheers,
Marc

Hey Marc,

Thanks for commenting! Taken from the damn at Lake Fayetteville, which is my most regular haunt since it's about a mile from my house. I'm looking forward to trying some rising moon shots from that spot when the conditions are right.
