Natural Bridge

Just down the road from Emerald Lake and Field was a place called the Natural Bridge. A series of rocks forming a natural bridge over the icy waters of the Kicking Horse River. The overcast skies that morning helped in not blowing out all the white water. We got off the 'tourist' path and ventured down the banks to get some great shots IMHO.

These are great shots, and there's something I've always found fascinating about natural bridges. My only question: why is Jim carrying an anti-tank weapon?

It was a cool site for sure - Jim was on the lookout for tourists getting in the way

Dave, all great shots, but #1 stands out for me, I like the way you incorporated the rock shelf with the river. The water color is just plain beautiful there. great job. Bob

Thanks Bob - yep that's what a glacier fed river looks like pretty much all year round.
