I am busy procastinating about some Geek based work I need to do - so I decided to take some pics of a board that the local Hackerspace makes (based on a Metalab board, but I digress).

I was really bad - I pulled out 3 strobes, gels and black acrylic bases...

I prefer the blue/cto flash gelled ones to the 'balanced' ones... but meh..










Gelled to balance, using Rice Paper for a diffuser on rear flash and to get grey background .

Thanks dom - I was quite pleased with them for what was just mucking around. Maybe thats why - low expectations on final product versus pre-thinking and over-imagining the end result leading to eventual dissatisfaction..

As for the board - Yes! I just threw this one together because the guy who designed it wanted some feedback - new revision due out soon with some changes. Will be using this one for some destructive testing and then the next revision board will be used to try and build a Digital Light Wand using something smaller than the Arduino Mega's....
