Mountain Goats in Jasper Natl.Park

Nicely captured Heinrich - we did not see any goats in Jasper - some Elk , Caribou and Moose ! But no sheep. Nice job on the exposure white against white is tough.

Great shots Heinrich, I have never seen one in the wild and you got a bonus with the youngster and mom. Bob

Thank you Dave, we didn't see any Caribou or Moose but some Elk and these Goats. Will post the Elk pictures later.

excellent captures heinrich....were these at 300mm? just curious as to how close these goats let you get to them...dave m

Thank you dave, these three goats were right besides the road and didn't seem to have a care in the world. All shot in between 70 and 150mm with the 55-300. Some (not so smart) people walk right up to them,
Not me, they are wild animals and can turn on you quicker than you can possibly run.
