12 is Enough
Posted By: Bob Harris, 10-08-2011, 08:28 PM

My daughter raises Silver Labrador Retrievers at her home and her female just gave birth to 12 of these beautifully colored labs. 6 male and 6 female and all were born healthy. I thought you might enjoy seeing what the silver labs look like, they are the popular lab to own is what I was told.
I think I had the WB set wrong for the first photo which gave the pups more of a chocolate color than the actual silver color. Thanks for looking, Bob

Brings back memories of raising English Mastiff pups for more than 20 years -

The scene in the first photo is what we always called "The Pile Up" - what a sight to see the whole pile of newborn pups!

Great captures - thanks for sharing.
Those English Mastiff are huge, a "pile up" of those puppies must be like a car wreck. Thanks for looking, Bob

we baby sat a yellow lab pup for the summer. When he went back home he was 60 pounds of solid muscle and uncontrollable energy.

Great dogs, but the first photo (advanced forward 6 months) represents about 750-800 pounds of total chaos

Lowell, I hadn't thought about that, sort of scary. My daughter has all of the pups placed already, I don't think she could afford to feed all of them if they were full grown. thanks for looking. Bob
