whats lurking in the woods!

(nothing just me and a mate with some bright lights )
Some fun in the local woods at night with a friends super bright caving torch. We wanted to try and backlight the trees to make a creepy atmosphere.
This one was a full 30s and as it was a little windy I had to crop off some of the blurred trees at the top of the picture.

Well done.

Very cinematographic - reminds me of something from a Stephen King flick.

really cool... I love this kind of creativity and the play of dark and light on the scene is very nice and effective.

Very nice. Evokes an "X-Files" kind of atmosphere.

I just love this shot!

Gives some inspiration as to what to experiment with in the dark now that the days are getting so much shorter.

Yep, this shot is great. nice creepy feel to it.

I've thought that shots like this (there aren't too many that i've seen) would be easy to duplicate, but they aren't. Requires the right lights and the right location, looks like some nice side lighting on the left as well?
