A Fading Wall
Lens: Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 EX DG Macro HSM II Camera: K5 Photo Location: Springfield MA ISO: 80 Shutter Speed: 1/250s Aperture: F5.6

This is my second try photographing a beautiful fading wall that was painted as a billboard many years ago for a long gone photography business.

The first time I shot it hand held but decided to go back and put my new Manfrotto tripod to work. A photo of my setup photo is attached. I also included a 100% crop so you can see the quality of this lens.

This was shot from about 200-300 feet away at 100mm FL using mirror lock-up and the IR Remote to fire the shutter.

I'd love to know what you think.......

I'm with Dave. I love seeing these as well - and actually started "collecting" them a couple of years ago. I've only got maybe 7 or 8 so far, but I keep an eye out for them. They're getting harder and harder to find.

Great capture - This one's definately a "keeper". TFS
