Our new puppy - "Rocket"
Lens: Pentax 16-50mm *DA Camera: Pentax K20 ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F13.5

This is the latest addition to our family. He is a little toy poodle. We named him Rocket. I used a single Alienbees strobe shot through a 16" umbrella for illumination.

Thanks for looking,

Lovely little dog with unusually coloured fur.
I bet it was quite a task to get him to sit still...

Wow, what an image. With those eyes, I would guess Rocket will get whatever he wants.

You know, I've come back to this photo about 30 times in the last two days. It just makes me smile. I really love dogs and this little guy reminds me of what's good and right with the world.

Great shot! Is that a tea cup, or a toy poodle? My Grandma had a tea cup poodle while I was young. I couldn't believe how small that little guy was.

That's too cute, but you forgot to place the knife and fork

Couldn't agree more.
We've always had poodles in my family...my Mum loves them.

This picture could easily be featured in calendars.
Little Rocket could be a star...
