This alien scout was walking on the wall of our house this evening.
I think it is a young katydid because it was much smaller than any I've seen and the wings looked like they are just developing.
If anyone has a correct ID please comment.

Larry, not sure what it is but it is well photographed by you. This might be the newest alien to attack CA. Be careful.

Katydid Eremopedes (according to: Field Guide to Insects of North America [Kaufman]) Whatever it is, its a nice image.
