Nature with the Pentax F remote
Lens: 18-250 pentax Camera: k5 Photo Location: Backyard Saugus ISO: 1600 Shutter Speed: 1/150s Aperture: F22

I just had my first chance to play around with the Pentax F remote that I won on the forum anniversary giveaway. The pics are nothing special but I had to see what it could do.I set the k5 on a tripod at 2ft from the feeder and fired away. The light was really failing and I used the on board k5 flash.I liked the results and the last pic was taken from about 50ft away using the remote.I won 2 remotes and the 2nd one I will give as a 4th prize on my latest active contest. Here is the link to the contest. It's off to a slow start but hopefully the entries will pick up given time.--charliezap

Charlie, that worked out just fine, nice images. What species is the bird in the second image? Leaving the camera alone that close to the feeder sometimes turns into disaster, I didn't enjoy cleaning my K10 a few years ago.

Looks like quite an exotic animal you captured in #4. You never know what roams in the backwoods.

The first one is a nuthatch--2nd is a tufted titmouse--3rd is a chickadee-- and the 4th is an ornery old coot.---charliezap

You're right Dave about the apron.I was going to put it away for the season but I just remembered that Halloween is right around the corner.--charliezap
