Thanks for the additional thread on this area, those jagged peaks must be something to see. I would guess you would need a passport now to visit both sides, or am I over-thinking. Bob

Thanks Bob and yes it is a gorgeous area. If you return with the boat that got you there, no need for a passport or anything else. (you get 20 minutes to look around) If you take the boat back later or the next day (there are 3 cruises a day) because you want to go on a day or overnight hike you need a passport or whatever else you would normally need to enter the USA.

Heinrich these are amazing. The idea of an international park is intriguing and wonderful. The scenery stunning. I too just love the last shot... the second last shot is extraordinary too... well they all are. Thank you so much for sharing your experience.

Thank you Tess for the kind words, it is appreciated. As far as international peace parks go, there is also the International Peace Gardens in Manitoba/North Dakota. I took a few pictures there last year: International Peace Garden Photo Gallery by Heinrich Lohmann at pbase.com
