Bancroft Barn DA*60-250
Lens: DA* 60-250 Camera: K20D Photo Location: Bancroft Ontario ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: 1/125s Aperture: F5.6

We see this barn all the time on the way to get groceries in Bancroft.. the closest town with a Canadian tire and a No Frills, both important canadian shopping icons. Every time I go by, I think a nice long focal length shot of this barn would be great... the long lens would set the barn right up against the ridge behiind it. Yesterday we finally stopped. The light didn't totally co-operate, we were hoping for a sunspot on the ridge, but hey, close enough. At least good enough until I get the exactly lighting I want.

The other thing here is the DA*60-250. Nice lens.
60mm

98mm

170mm

250mm

I'll choose later which one I like best.. for right now I'm happy with all of them...

Looks like a very nice lens! I love these types of rustic images - I'm leaning towards the 170mm shot. TFS!

Nice series Norn I covet that Lens ..I like the 170 shot as well but that post in the lower right corner is a bit distracting , so it's the 250 for me (but they are all good).

I had to check to see what you were talking about... if I decide to use it for anything, I'll defintiely crop or clone that out. Thanks for pointing that out.

Between here and Ottawa along Hwy 60 there are a pile of these barn shots just waiting to happen. Tess and I keep telling ourselves we're going on a trip to Ottawa, just to do barn shots... but so far no go.

I like the whole series Norm, they are all nice but the 170 mmm shot with the lower right cloned out is the best of all.

Norm, as I worked through the images the last one caught my eye. The barn is the shot and the last image shows it off the best. Well done. JIM
