I have been spoiled with nice lenses and my Kx, all but forgetting about my poor rejected and neglected point and shoot. However, today was pouring rain so I figured it was the waterproof Optio or no camera at all. Here are some fun pics I took of our hike.

Keep it up. You are doing good. You have learned that the best shots are taken in unusual weather. You would never have gotten those saturated colours without the rain. I especially like the tapestry of 6 and 7 and the two dogs tussling.

It's been said the best camera is the one you have with you. I really love the rich colors of the leaves - we don't get many reds here - nice series indeed. Great self portrait BTW.
